Michael Chenoweth is the Children’s Coordinator for the 4th, 5th and 6th grades here at Eastside. He has been on staff since 2003 but worked as a volunteer for seven years previous to that. Michael holds a degree in Business Administration from Central Washington University. He worked in construction for five years and then was a high school teacher for seven years teaching construction trades before coming to EFC.
He was the President, Chaplain and a coach for a Christian wrestling club called Greater Gold, but is currently in transition to become a wrestling coach for Reality Sports. He has also been a high school wrestling coach since 1991 and the head coach at Newport High School since 1997. Michael married Rachel in 2008, and although they have no biological kids yet, through the Lord they have several hundred that they minister to every week. He enjoys backpacking with his wife and their dog, wrestling and mixed martial arts and riding motorcycles. |
