The safety and sanctity of our children is our top priority here at Eastside. In addition, we want to show all our little ones how much God and the people in their church community love and value them.

Infants

Our littlest ones are cared for in a safe and loving environment as they play and interact with other children. We have dedicated teams of volunteers who love snuggling and playing with babies, and creating a friendly atmosphere that makes coming to church a happy time.

2-3 Years

Kids learn to better understand God and His love for them with a curriculum designed for their age group. Our teaching style is interactive. We incorporate songs, games, crafts and snacks based on the day’s Bible lesson.

PreK-Kindergarten

Children participate in Learning Centers that include a variety of games, books, arts and crafts, sensory play and toys. Children enjoy a Bible story, age-appropriate interactive worship, and an opportunity to talk to Jesus in prayer. There is always laughter and fun in these classrooms. The teachers are also able to give a lot of attention to each child.

Nursing Mothers’ Room

We have a private room reserved for moms where they can nurse and change their infants while listening and watching the service. This room is located upstairs in the Eastside Kids area.

Parent Viewing Room

We have a room reserved for parents whose small children aren’t quite ready to attend one of our children’s classes on their own. Parents can listen and watch the service while their kids play with toys provided. This room is located upstairs in the Eastside Kids area.

1st through 5th Grade

Our goal is to help kids grow in their knowledge of God, His love, His Word, and His plan for their lives. In addition to laughing and making friends, this age group is ready to deepen their understanding of God’s Word.

Our Bible lessons help children explore what it means to live a daily life devoted to Jesus. On Sundays, kids start with hang time and play in their age appropriate classrooms, then we bring all the kids together for prayer and worship time, followed by a biblically-based, age-appropriate teaching.

We return to our classrooms for small group time to discuss what we learned and pray for individual needs. Friendship with God and others is encouraged, and an opportunity for experiencing heart-felt worship is incorporated into every class time.
