Nursery, Infants and Toddlers

In our nursery and toddler rooms, the goal is to provide a safe and loving environment for these precious little children. They receive tender, loving care, and the toddlers learn to play and interact with other children while listening to songs and stories about Jesus.

We have a great team of volunteers who truly enjoy being with children and they do a wonderful job to create a freindly and loving atmosphere.

In the classroom for two year old children, we use a wonderful Bible-in-Life curriculum that helps the kids to better understand God and His love for them. The curriculum is very interactive and fun, and the children learn about Jesus through story, song, crafts, puppets, and even enjoy a snack that reinforces the Bible lesson.

Preschool and Kindergarten

Our preschool ministry provides a wonderful environment of discovery for kids from age three through Kindergarten. Leaders give special care and attention to each child who is entrusted to them during the worship service. Jesus' love, radiating from these wonderful teachers, helps your children feel church is a happy place where they are loved and secure.

Children are welcomed into our preschool classrooms and then invited to participate in learning centers that include a variety of games, books, puppets, arts and crafts, sensory play, and toys.

Our learning centers are followed by a circle time which includes worship, a Bible story with discussion and application, prayer time, and several times per month our classrooms are visited by a storyteller or puppeteer! The preschool/kindergarten ministry at Eastside is designed to be age appropriate and foundational in teaching our little ones God's Word.

Early Elementary

In our classes for first through third grades, kids begin to deepen their understanding of God's Word. The Bible lessons are both developmentally and spiritually appropriate for your child, and a lot of fun too! They also learn how to apply God's Word to their daily lives.

Upper Elementary

Club 123 - Where Kids Reach Kids

Club 123 is for every kid in the first, second, or third grade. Kids are encouraged to bring their friends to a FUN, totally supervised, safe and secure environment. Parents are encouraged to join in on the fun whenever they can. Every week we have a new theme with activities that starts at 7:30 PM and lasts until 9:00 PM.

Club 123 gives this age group a place where they can hang out and get to know the other kids that come to the weekend services. This is also a great place to bring their friends and show them that getting to know Jesus is a cool thing to do! Many parents have found that they too can get to know other parents at Club 123.

Club 456

Club 456 Nite is for every kid in the 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. It is a time for kids to be together in a fun filled, supervised, safe and secure environment. Kids are encouraged to bring their friends, cousins, and schoolmates who are in this age group. Every week there is something new happening, and on occasion we plan an offsite activity in the community.

The weekend service program pursues a balance of ministry that includes worship, instruction, fellowship, and equipping. To accomplish this, we use a variety of creative teaching methods centered on the Word of God, with strong emphasis on personal application.
