Nursery and Preschool
INFANTS, TODDLERS, and TWOS
Diana Page is the coordinator for the infants and toddlers who come with their parents to Eastside. These children are cared for in a safe and loving environment, playing and interacting with other children while mom and dad are able to freely enjoy worship and teaching in the service or classes.
Dedicated teams of volunteers, who love being with the children, create a friendly atmosphere that makes coming to church a 'happy time.' In the two-year-old classrooms, the toddlers learn to better understand God and His love for them with a curriculum designed for their age group. The teaching is interactive, incorporating songs, puppets, crafts and snacks based on the day's Bible lesson.
The nursery for infants, toddlers and twos are upstairs in Rooms 200 and 201.

PRESCHOOL
Marcie Brazee coordinates the preschool program for children age three through kindergarten. Always ready with a smile, Marcie and the teachers in this program give a lot of attention to each child. Children are welcomed into the classroom and then invited to participate in Learning Centers that include a variety of games, books, puppets, arts and crafts, sensory play and toys.
Children are brought together for a Bible story, age-appropriate interactive worship, and an opportunity in the comfortable setting to 'talk to Jesus' in prayer. There is always laughter and fun in these classrooms.
You'll find the preschool classrooms in the upstairs hallway:
Threes and Fours in Room 202, Fives and Kindergarten in Room 203

SPECIAL EVENTS
We have many special events planned throughout the year:
Watch for details about these events in your bulletin, classroom, or this website.
Club 123 (Early Elementary)

Children in the 1st through 3rd grade are ready to deepen their understanding of God's Word. Pastor Scott Smith, the Elementary Program Coordinator, chooses curriculum and designs Bible lessons that will help these children explore the realities of a daily life devoted to Jesus. He and his team of teachers are sensitive to the unique needs of this age group. Friendship with God and others is encouraged and an opportunity for experiencing heart-felt worship is incorporated into every class time. Of course, the kids just think they are having fun!
You'll find the 1st though 3rd grade classrooms in the upstairs hallway of the Kidzone in Room 216.

Club 456 (Upper Elementary)
Michael Chenoweth, the Club 456 Program Coordinator, knows how to keep things exciting for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. Boredom is the enemy when it comes to pre-adolescent kids, so there is always something fun going on in Room 217.
Weekend Services:
These services take place during regular church service times and utilize creative teaching methods centered on the Word of God, with a strong emphasis on personal application. Each activity is designed with the intent to train children to become strong in their faith and able to live out that faith in their everyday lives. The kids are encouraged toward leadership, preparing them to influence their generation for Christ. Worship is not a 'sit down and be quiet' experience, but a meaningful, joyful time with music that relates lyrically and stylistically to their age group.

Next summer our kids' weeklong discovery—takes place at Lake Retreat Camp in Ravensdale, Washington, just 35 miles southeast of Seattle and only a 25 minute drive from Issaquah, Renton, or Auburn.
Dates for 2013 are July 8-12. (Monday-Friday) Registration is open online at https://foursquaresummercamps.smartevents.com or forms are available at the Kidzone.
This beautiful camp is located right on the lake and filled with outdoor activities. Your kids will have a week loaded with sports, outdoor games, hiking, swimming, boating, climbing, and much more, all safely supervised. Even more importantly, your kids will learn we are called and equipped by God through His Holy Spirit to search for and rescue the lost.
Your camper’s home for the week will be one of several lodges and cabins with bunkbed sleeping and conveniently located restroom and shower facilities. Our staff of carefully screened and trained adult leaders will spend the week leading and teaching your child, helping and encouraging them in their relationship with the Lord.
Make this summer one that your kids won’t just remember, but one that will change their lives.
