EPIC Opportunities - A Vision for Local Outreach @ Eastside Foursquare Church

At Eastside, we are passionate about playing a vibrant role in our surrounding community. We are always on the look-out for ways to actively address the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of many around us. EPIC Opportunities is a driving force designed to get volunteers from Eastside mobilized and building bridges with ministries and organizations right here in Bothell and extending into the heart of downtown Seattle!

My EPIC Opportunity

ZONE ONE:

OPPORTUNITIES: IN OUR CHURCH

Zone ONE opportunities are focused on any effort to serve our community right here at Eastside Foursquare Church.
These efforts include but are not limited to:

* Puget Sound Blood Center Blood Drives

* Lifeline Classes on Tuesday Evenings

* Community Day Camps

* Vacation Bible School

* Community Memorial Services

* Seasonal Concerts

* Eagle Outreach Christmas Gift Drive

* Help for the Holidays Food Baskets

ZONE TWO: EPIC Response Teams

OPPORTUNITIES: IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Zone TWO opportunities are focused on assembling small groups of people (EPIC Response Teams) to meet practical needs right here in our area. You choose the TIME… You choose the DATE… we find you an EPIC Opportunity to meet a need! (Formerly 4x40 Projects) Opportunities include:

* Serving at local food banks

* Moving assistance

* Upkeep at schools and city parks

* Building relationships with seniors in retirement homes

* Music lessons & Tutoring

* House and yard upkeep for seniors and disabled individuals

ZONE THREE:

OPPORTUNITIES: INTO THE HEART OF OUR CITY

Zone THREE Opportunities are focused on our partnerships with Seattle Union Gospel Mission, Mary’s Place Woman’s Day Shelter and New Horizons Teen Shelter. Eastside is sending small groups to these ministries on a weekly basis! You can get involved by:

* Help For The Holidays

* Volunteering to provide rides to church

* Serving meals

* Participating in chapel services

* Intentionally discipling men and woman in recovery programs

* Leading Bible Studies

* Going out to coffee

* Helping with makeovers for the ladies!
