This Weekend at Eastside

I hope the title for the series I have chosen does not seem flippant or presumptuous to you. What I would like to do with this verse-by-verse study of James is to treat it in such a way that the life lessons I have learned - or am presently learning - from these truths are made clear. I think this approach will help all those studying with me to better understand how to read a book of the Bible for themselves.

Legacy Gala 2008

Friday, May 16, 5:30pm. Dinner, dessert, and live auction! The theme for Eastside's fourth annual Legacy Gala and auction is "Pay it Forward." This is the last chance we have to raise funds for the building project prior to finalizing loans for the construction. And the great news is we are hosting it in our new facilities!

So start picking out your fancy threads for this evening out with your spouse, friends, and relatives. You'll have a fabulous time AND help raise money for the building project.

Deadline for RSVPs and auction items is Sunday, May 4. Since this is our final Legacy auction to be held at EFC on Friday, May 16 at 5:30 pm, it is sure to sell out. Get your reservations in immediately so you can be part of the fun at this Gala event!
